SHIPPING POLICY
At Kahanni, we are committed to delivering your handcrafted products to you in a timely, secure, and reliable manner. Please read our shipping policy carefully to understand how we process and deliver your orders.
1. Serviceable Locations
We currently ship across India. If your location is not serviceable, our team will notify you after order placement and initiate a full refund.
2. Processing Time
- All orders are processed within 2–4 business days after payment confirmation.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
At Kahanni, we take great pride in our craftsmanship, and since all our products are handmade in limited quantities, we do not offer exchanges for domestic or international orders. The only exception is in the case of damaged or incorrect products, where a replacement of the same product will be provided.
3. Estimated Delivery Time
- Metro Cities: 4–7 business days
- Other Cities & Towns: 5–10 business days
- Remote or Non-Serviceable Areas: Delivery may take longer depending on location and courier availability.
Note: Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen logistics issues or weather disruptions. Kahanni is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, customs clearance, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.
4. Shipping Charges
- Free Shipping: On all prepaid orders above ₹1,950.
- Standard Shipping Fee: ₹80 for orders below ₹1,950.
- Shipping charges, if applicable, will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS. You can use this link to track your shipment in real-time.

6. Delayed / Lost Shipments
While we work with reliable delivery partners, delays may occasionally occur. If your order is delayed beyond the expected time, please get in touch with us so we can coordinate with the courier service.
If your order is lost in transit or marked delivered but not received, we will initiate an investigation and support a resolution.
7. Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery
Please ensure your shipping details are accurate at the time of checkout.
- If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, or if delivery is attempted unsuccessfully multiple times, the order may be returned to us.
- In such cases, re-shipping charges may apply.
- Address changes after placing an order are only possible if the order has not yet been dispatched. Please contact us at the earliest to request an update.
Please do not accept a parcel if it is tampered as we will not be responsible for it.
8. Packaging
All products are securely packed using eco-friendly and protective materials to ensure they reach you in perfect condition.
9. International Shipping
We currently ship internationally to select countries. If your location is not serviceable, our team will notify you after order placement and initiate a full refund.
Important Information for International Orders:
- Shipping rates and delivery timelines will be calculated at checkout based on destination and weight.
- Any customs duties, taxes, or import charges applicable in the destination country must be paid by the customer at the time of delivery.
- If you decide to return your order, you are responsible for shipping the product back to us and bearing the associated shipping and customs charges.
- We do not facilitate reverse pick-ups for international orders.
- Products must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging to qualify for a return.
- Refunds for international orders will be made in the form of store credit for the value of the returned product only. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Kahanni does not offer exchanges for domestic or international orders, except in the case of damaged or incorrect products where a replacement of the same product will be provided.
- In case your merchandise arrives damaged, please email images and videos as proof to info@kahanni.com within 24 hours of delivery. After verification, a store credit of the same value or a full refund will be issued.
