2. Are all your sarees handloom?
Yes, every saree at Kahanni is handwoven by skilled artisans, primarily from India and surrounding weaving clusters. We are committed to promoting handloom traditions and preserving artisanal livelihoods.
3. Do you offer blouse pieces with your sarees?
Yes — all Kahanni sarees come with an attached blouse piece unless specifically mentioned otherwise in the product description.

5. How do I take care of my Kahanni saree?
To keep your saree looking timeless:
- First wash: Dry clean recommended.
- Aftercare: Gentle hand wash with mild detergent in cold water.
- Drying: Dry in shade; avoid direct sunlight.
- Storage: Store in a muslin cloth or breathable bag to maintain its texture and color.
6. The colour of the product I received is slightly different from the images. Why?
The photos of every product are clicked in different light settings. We try to capture images in conditions that are as close as possible to how the product looks in real life. However, sometimes the camera lens cannot perfectly match the perspective of the human eye, so slight colour variations may occur.
Additionally, our products are handcrafted in small batches by artisans — not machine-made in large quantities. This means each batch may have a slight variation in shade due to the human touch involved in the process. These small differences are a natural and beautiful part of owning something handmade, and are not considered defects.
7. The print has irregularities. Why?

These subtle irregularities are not flaws — they’re a mark of authenticity, and what makes each Kahanni saree truly one-of-a-kind.

8. Can I change my address after placing the order?
Yes, you can update your delivery address as long as your order has not been shipped. Once the order leaves our warehouse, we are unable to modify the address.
- If you’d like to change the address to an international location, please note that you will be responsible for any additional shipping fees.
- If you have selected and would like to change the delivery address to within India, the international shipping fees will be refunded to you as store credit.
9. How do I place an order on Kahanni?
Simply browse our collections, select your saree, click Add to Cart, and follow the checkout steps. You’ll receive an order confirmation via email and WhatsApp once the order is placed.
10. How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, a tracking link will be sent to your email and WhatsApp. You can use it to monitor delivery progress.
11. Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders can be modified or cancelled within 4 hours of placing them. Please email us immediately at info@kahanni.com with your order ID.
12. I haven’t received my order confirmation. What should I do?
Check your spam or promotions folder. If it's not there, contact us at info@kahanni.com or on WhatsApp.

13. Do you offer pan-India shipping?
Yes, we deliver across India using trusted courier partners.
14. How much are the shipping charges?
We offer free shipping on all prepaid orders. A nominal charge may apply for Cash on Delivery.
15. When will my order be delivered?
Orders are usually shipped within 2–4 working days and delivered within 7–12 working days, depending on your location.
16. What if my order is delayed?
We strive to meet delivery timelines, but occasional delays due to logistics or weather may happen. If your order is delayed, please contact us for support.
PAYMENT RELATED QUERIES
17. What payment methods are accepted?
We accept UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, Wallets, and Cash on Delivery (for selected areas).
18. Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. We use encrypted and secure payment gateways to ensure your data is safe.
19. Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
Yes, COD is available for eligible pincodes. This option will be shown at checkout if applicable.
REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY
20. Do you accept returns or exchanges?
We do not offer exchanges for change of mind, size, or design preference. Returns are accepted for store credit only, and must be requested within 3 days of delivery.
21. What should I do if I receive a damaged or wrong product?
Please email us at info@kahanni.com within 24 hours of delivery with clear images or an unboxing video, along with your order number. If verified, we will provide a replacement of the same product (subject to availability) or store credit if the product is unavailable.
22. Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are only processed to the original payment method if the item is found to be defective or incorrect and cannot be replaced. In all other approved return cases, refunds are issued as store credit for the product value only (shipping charges are non-refundable).
23. How long does it take to process a refund?
- Store credit is issued within 2–3 working days after we receive and inspect the product.
- Refunds (for defective/incorrect items that can’t be replaced) are processed within after confirmation.
